Jeffrey W. Eckel | download vcard
 Mr. Eckel is President and CEO of Hannon Armstrong. His experience, spanning over 26 years, includes starting the federal energy finance practice at Hannon Armstrong, the creation and management of energy service companies operating in the U.S. and internationally, as well as project and corporate finance. He has held senior executive positions as CEO of EnergyWorks, and as CEO of Wärtsilä Power Development. Mr. Eckel received a B.A. from Miami University and an M.P.A. from Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Mr. Eckel has testified on energy matters before a U.S. Senate Subcommittee and the California Energy Commission and published papers on demand-side and supply-side energy topics, with the Electric Power Research Institute and the Financial Analyst Journal.

He combines 20 years of commercial banking, government contracting and institutional lending experience. He brings more than 17 years experience in the field of commercial and project finance. Mr. Chuslo recently worked as the Senior Legal and Finance consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Prior to this he worked as an associate attorney for Chadbourne & Parke, LLP, practicing in the power project finance group and earlier with Davis Polk & Wardwell, practicing in the corporate finance group. Mr. Chuslo graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and with a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

 Dave Watson is Senior Vice President of Hannon Armstrong and was recently appointed as President of EnergySource, its wholly-owned renewable energy development company. EnergySource develops grid-connected geothermal and solar power projects to deliver power to utilities required to purchase renewable energy under state regulations. EnergySource's first project, the 49 MW Hudson Ranch I geothermal station, will commence construction in Imperial County, California, in 2009. Mr. Watson has 25 years' experience in project/structured finance and energy project development, including lead development of several successful energy ventures with Wartsila Power Development, EnergyWorks and EnergySource in the US and Latin America. Mr. Watson has an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BA degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

 Ms. Vensel is a Senior Advisor for the company’s Project Finance and DOE Loan Guarantee Advisory services. She brings to Hannon Armstrong 18 years of project finance, strategy, development and restructuring experience in the energy and renewable specialties with companies such as GE Structured Finance, where she managed over $2BN of investments in power generating assets, Societe Generale, as head of Commodities Finance for the Americas and as CFO for two renewable energy companies. She has led over $10 billion in energy related project transactions. Ms. Vensel has a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BSBA in Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. |
